Weather for Ottawa

Ottawa has a temperate climate with a cold and snowy winter with warm and humid summers. Summer temperatures range between 13-27C with some days at or above 32C.

Although there are four distinct seasons, Ottawa has a long winter (about five months, mid-November-mid-April), short spring (mid-April-May) and fall (October-mid-November) and a four-month summer (June-September).

September being the wettest month. In the fall and springtime, expect cooler weather and cloud. The winters are typical of Ontario, being both continuous and generally cold. The city offers many enjoyable activities and attractions for all seasons and weather conditions.
